Home › Forums › Vintage EHX › Graphic Fuzz Switch Problem?
Hi, I recently bought an original graphic fuzz off ebay and have a couple of questions to ask. Firstly I’m not sure if the dynamic filter’s working properly as it seems to go from very quiet to very loud and just seems to be a bit un-natural, does that seem right to anyone? Secondly and probably more importantly the footswitch ‘bangs’ through the amp when the effect is engaged, but is more or less fine when you switch the effect off again. I’ve looked inside and the earth connection to the casing looked a bit dodgy so I re-soldered it but it’s just the same. Could it just need a new footswitch? When I use it through a peavey valveking 212 it’s really noticeable when you press the footswitch. Everything else on the pedal is fine and the tones are awesome, just wish it did’nt bang. Any help would be massively appreciated, cheers.
