Bass Big Muff and Big Muff with Tone Wicker
My board now has this beautiful row of Big Muffs.
I still haven’t got to do a full volume session with them yet, but I will tomorrow when I won’t be disturbing anyone.
The bass big muff is a lot of fun in dry mode though, really responsive. And the Tone Wicker can get really mean and ugly sounding, and the tone bypass is a nice feature.
Please tell how’s the Bass Muff for guitar!
you bought both at the same time? lol, cool….you can never have too many muffs in your life.
I like it in dry mode. The bit of clean makes for a sort of unusual fuzz sound.
Watched some videos where a guitar is played through and now I want it too. However, YouTube quality sucks, and since it’s supposed to be based on the Russian BMP, is there any tonal difference?
Cool, julian!
it’s been a long while since I played a Russian BMP, so I’m not sure. It’s less scooped and less gainy than a Little Big Muff.
I really love the dry blend mode though. It’s really useful for blending two separate fuzz sounds together. Put a really nasty fuzz in front of it that is almost devoid of low end then put it on dry mode with a really dark setting, then you’ll get nasty high end with some low end in there as well.
