Hi.
I recently purchased a Good Vibes. I like the pedal, especially using it with the Dual Expression Pedal, but I am having an issue with the switch popping when the unit is engaged. It is noticeably loud and it really sets off the spring reverb in my Marshall. When I switch it into bypass there is nothing audible in the signal other than what is expected. It doesn’t matter where I place the pedal in the signal chain. Has anyone else experienced this, or do I need to send it back to have it replaced?
Thanks.

March 22, 2020 at 2:43 am #125951WukaWukaMemberHi, I recently purchased a used, in new condition, Good Vibes pedal with exactly the same issue, it adds an audible pop to the signal when engaging the foot switch. Likewise, I’ve tried the pedal in different places in the signal chain, including, the effects loop of my Marshall DSL-5C but, the pop is always present when switching in the tremolo or chorus effects.
I’ve spoken to a few people now who have experienced the same problem with this pedal. It would be nice to get some feedback please!? I’ve spoken to a few people now who have experienced the same problem with this pedal. It would be nice to get some feedback please!? ThanksHi. In my case, the merchant offered to replace the unit only to find that their entire stock had the same issue. EHX offered to repair/replace the unit under warranty. I ended up getting a refund and purchased a Stereo Clone Theory which is also a chorus/vibrato. The down side is that I lost the expression pedal capability; the up side is that I now have the option of stereo.
I do not know the current status of the issue with the Good Vibes pedals. I will probably buy another one once I’m satisfied that the problem is fixed. It is a problem, and not normal operation. EHX will repair out-of-warranty pedals (not vintage) for $25. Send an email to info@ehx.com.
Regards.
