in loop mode:
hit loop button, record an EMPTY LOOP (turn your guitar volume down) count off 20 beats at 60bpm.release recording button.
turn the knob down to half speed
you now have 40secs of looptime
overdub on that
you can do 60secs of loop time if you count to 30 at 60bpm
MAKE SURE YOUR GUITAR VOLUME IS ALL THE WAY DOWN WHEN YOU DO THE EMPTY LOOP.

Yeah that’s true but if your guitarvolume is down you can’t hear the loop so you don’t exactly know when it starts and also you can’t have a loop of for intance 53 sec. beacause of the loop already being 60 sec.

You ask this my friend because your concept of tempo and time signature is wrong.
October 23, 2009 at 1:17 am #102556randylinMembermust i go on youtube and give a seminar on this?? ok i will. busy lately but seminar is forthcoming.
October 23, 2009 at 9:00 am #102573John JMemberyou could record a metronome, shift it down an octave, then turn the repeats knob all the way down and play your loop. the click track will disappear and boom! minute-ish long loop with precision.
thats what i used to do when i was playing guitar and drums in my drone band (most of our riffs are longer than thirty seconds). then we got really proggy and carefully structured so we had to find a fulltime drummer so the hazarai is just a delay to me again…

Hello,
My version of this is to play a part at double speed & up an octave for the basic rhythm part. Then just slow it down & you’ve got your minute long loop to play with. The only guesswork is chacking to see if I came in & out of the loop correctly so that there isn’t a hitch at the end of the loop. Sometimes I get it right, sometimes I don’t.March 15, 2010 at 5:03 pm #108539Folkstone57MemberQuote:must i reveal ALL my secrets? You ask this my friend because your concept of tempo and time signature is wrong.
Hello,
If you record an empty loop without any reference there is no time signature or tempo……empty means there’s nothing there…… -
