So this problem is a little weird. I used to use my Germanium OD a lot as an always on pedal at the front of my chain because it added articulation and bite. The only problem I had with it was that sometimes it would make this weird whining or whistling noise in the background. It was subtle but noticeable. So I put it on the shelf for a long while as I tried other pedals. Recently I pulled it out again and it doesn’t sound anything like I remember. Where before it was bright and articulate, now it sounds a little muffled and bland. And it doesn’t make that whining sound anymore.

It is possible something went bad inside it? Does this sound like a common or familiar problem? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
