Not to knock the guys who made the demo but to me it makes the pedal sound like a POS. What amp are they running that thing through? To me the pedal sounds so much sweeter than the harsh treble mashed up mayhem coming out in that demo. Also the Volts had little effect in the video and my pedal reacts way more than this one seems to. I really don’t know what to say as I love the pedal but feel the demo does it quite an injustice. Kitrae and Rayjay, what did you guys think? I know that beyond making these claims I need to put my own demo up so I will get to work on it.
I have seen three demos now, I think. I assume you are talking about the one on the EHX home page, which is not the best. Who knows, maybe those guys liked those settings and that’s the best they could do. One of the others, Pro Guitar Shop’s vid I think, was pretty good. None of them show the range of tones I have gotten out of it though, but someone will do a really nice demo eventually.
I agree I just wondered if you ear was hearing what mine was. It’s not that I wanted to knock these guys but they do the pedal an injustice. It sounds overly trebly to me and also their distortion sounds like complete mush with very little articulation. The pedal can be way more clear and sensitive then what is being put out there.
