    I’ve just got my EH Memory Toy and it works perfect in front of the amp, but I want to run it in the effects loop on its own. The problem is that I keep getting a loud POP thru the speaker when I switch the pedal on.

    Can anyone help me with this?

    My rig consists of:

    Guitar > TU-2 > DS-1 > Digitech Screamin’ Blues > Amp

    FX Loop > EH Memory Toy

    I use the channel selector on the amp footswitch to go between both clean and lead tones and switch the reverb on and off.

    have you tried any other pedals in the loop to see if it makes the same pop?

    None of my other pedals make the pop in the effects loop. My other pedals have the soft springy micro switch.
    I’ve tried different leads. The pedal doesn’t pop when its in the front of the amp
