Need assist with frustrating problem; I have brand new Pitchfork. When plugging Strat into input and then connecting output to amp, it works beautifully-loveitloveit. BUT, if I put in my pedal chain — in front of Big Muff (see below) — the guitar makes no sound – at any volume. Without the Pitchfork connected, the pedal chain works perfectly. FYI, I am running Pitchfork on 9Volt Battery.
Pedal Chain config without Pitchfork: Big Muff–> Boss Super Overdrive–>Boss Digital Delay–>MXR Phaser->Boss Chorus–>Boss 63 Reverb–> into Fender Mustang III amp.
Aaarrgh! Somebody toss me a lifeline! Where am I going wrong?
Thanks in advance,
Tconnell
… i hope you didn’t plug your guitar into the expression pedal input. Happened to me before.
Thanks — in defense of you, I almost plugged into the expression input but didn’t. FYI, I discovered the problem and it was,…wait for it,….a bad friggin cable I used to connect the PF to the rest of the chain…..I began troubleshooting this AM and finally discovered the culprit.
Incredible..;-( Sounds great now!

does your pedal makes noise when engage ? i mean it SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHes on my side.
not THAT big, but BIG enough to be a real problem (my micro pog is much more silent).
Low octave sounds great high octaves sound cheesy. Tracks well. Chorus (detune) is actually really cool. Cons – makes hiss when engaged. Wish they made the increments of adjustment a half step instead of a major scale so that it could be used as a capo for frets 1-8. Remove octave 3 it has no practical use.
