    I don’t know much about the pedal, just tried it on my sons amp, interesting sound, very creamy! My question has two parts. 1) How do I figure out when it was made?
    2) What signal path is best for Big Muff I also use a Chorus an Octaver and a MXR compressor sustainer through a ’71 Princton Reverb. Thanks.

    Congrats on your terrific find! I’m glad you rescued it from doom.

    I would first try compressor > octaver > Big Muff Pi > chorus

    hay i dont blame him for finding it in the trash, i find worth while items in the trash. 2 months i found a whole working original Leslie 145 unit!! i dont have personal intrest in the unit, but i had made over $3000 parting it out on Ebay!

    $1000 of that money went for making another custom guitar i had all ready started. and the $2000 of it went for all EH gear. :D

    Thanks for all the replies, I do have to clarify, it was my brother who found the unit, but he doesn’t play guitar. That’s how come I also have his two ’70 vintage Princeton reverb’s, and a bunch of other stuff. Also thanks for the signal path info, I’m still messin around with it, I’m not sure if it’s my sound though, still workin on it. I’m mostly rhythm in an Americana/ Roots band, so I’m still workin on gettin the sound. Thanks again!

    Post pics of the front, top where the jacks are, take the back off and snap a pic, see if you can see a number on the back of the pots like 137XXXXX — if it doesn’t have a number like that, it’ll be a recent one…
    Nice find though.
