    Hi!

    I’d lost the power supply for my Flanger Hoax. I wanna buy a new one, but i don’t know the parameters. On the case is written 18VDC/500mA… but on the PCB is 12vdc/100mA!
    Please tell my the parameters of the power supply (V/A), and the polarity.

    18VDC/500mA.

    Not sure of the polarity but it’s usually tip negative.

    So center negative? Or center positive…
    12vdc should be enough, because there is a 7809 9v regulator inside.

    I don’t have a Hoax myself so no idea on the polarity.

    Same problem, more or less.

    I think I found a cheap suitable replacement but I’m not sure of he dimensions for the power supply socket.
    Can anyone advise?

    Also can I buy a replacement 18v 500mA Power supply from EHX?
    Need UK/Irish power unit
