I’ve tried to search through the forums in order to avoid being redundant, so I’m sorry for my ignorance on this one.

I’m trying to implement my EHX Flanger Hoax into my set up. I’m keeping it as simple as possible: I use a Roland Jazz Chorus 160, Boss TU-2 Tuner, my SG and this pedal. The pedal, not surprising to me, exudes a good deal of white noise when activated. Is there something I’m doing wrong, or is it just going to be like that with this set up?

Is there any way I can prevent this, alter it, or otherwise eliminate this noise without adding something else? If I have to add something, what would you suggest?
