December 22, 2008 at 7:42 am #89446efe_gallagherMemberStereo Electric Mistress
I like the Chorus/Flanger combination above the super flanger modeling the Deluxe EM hasDecember 31, 2008 at 12:55 am #89869Fender&EHX4everModeratorI have these 2, but I’m not sure I love one more than the other. I would have a very tough time selling off either one.

January 2, 2009 at 4:42 pm #89995andvari7ParticipantI have the reissue DEM, and, as that is the only product in that family I have used, that gets my vote.

Personally I have only tried th DEM, and I probably use it too much. I usually leave it on with just a bit of modulation. Like on the first David Gilmour solo record.
January 15, 2009 at 5:00 pm #90810petejtMemberWell, I’ve only played one, so my favourite is my Deluxe Electric Mistress.
I do not know if it is a reissue or original. I just now it has a few scratches on it, and has the grey & black faceplate.
January 22, 2009 at 4:44 pm #91418Mr RadunzelMemberThe ole nine volt version! my uncle gave it to me when he gave up his session work.. makes me happy! gotta say a fl9 is not by anymeans a replacement tho the dano triple flange is almost as nice (blasphemy i know)
February 20, 2009 at 12:23 am #93635ispunkMemberI got a DEM for Christmas and I like it so it gets my vote. One question though. Why doesn’t the reissue DEM have a status LED? All the other reissues got one and not this one. What gives? Does anyone do a mod to add an LED. I looked at analogman’s site but I didn’t see anything for adding an LED.

February 20, 2009 at 4:55 am #93650Fender&EHX4everModeratorNot to be a smart-ass, but flanger is one of those effects where there’s no mistaking when it’s on or off. I don’t really need an LED to let me know.
