Hi all,

Just today I got a new Electro Harmonix Neo Clone. It seemed fine the first couple of uses but later today it began to have the following problem:

The LED activates as soon as a cable is plugged into the input socket. It then stays on regardless of whether the effect is activated or not. The switch does not turn it off as it should normally. The chorus effect works fine and sitches on and off as it should.

Just to add: I bought this online, imported it from another country and it was €60. So I’m not inclined to go to all the hassle of returns and chasing companies etc… I have some basic electronics experience so would like to sort this out myself if possible.

Has anyone ever had a similar problem, or does anyone have any suggestions as far as what I could try next?
