I’m getting a ring thing and I really want an expression pedal, as it basically doubles its use. What pedals are compatible with the ring thing, and which would be the best choice?
Roland EV5 or Boss EV500 or M-Audio.
Why thank you very much kind sir.
Happy to help. You can read my whole review here: https://www.ehx.com/forums/viewthread/3153/
I was afraid that review was going to turn me away, and i really wanted this pedal. I was dead wrong. You just made me want the RT even more. Thanks again for your help.
I do have a question about the boss expression pedal though. I see that it doubles as a volume pedal. Can you switch between the two functions in real time, say while performing, or is its use solitary?
would involve unplugging/replugging in things. And quite possibly a few adapters.
I think the only one I’ve seen that can be used as an Exp treadle (CV out) and volume is the DOD FX17.
Yeah I’ve not used it as a volume pedal. The EV5 (the one I use) has only an attached stereo cable, so it would work for some things, not all, and would involve plugging/unplugging as already mentioned.
I wanted my Behringer FCV100 to work because in theory, it could work as expresson pedal for one and volume for another, but it didn’t work at all with the RT.
