Even with the disortion off the filter is quite dirty. I try to clean it up by lowering the sesitivity but then the filter dosen’t open up right. I prefer the Low pass sounds. Any suggestions?
Also how sensitive is the other trim pot in the pedal? The one we aren’t suppose to touch. What does it controll and how dificult is it to reset to original setting if messed with? You know we’er just dying to mess with it to see what it does. Do not touch warning makes it even more difficult not to touch! Thanks for any suggestions. Can’t wait to record some new stuff with it!

Thanks with the idea. I will experiment with that. The adjustments on the enigma are so interactive it’s going to take a while to get my hands around it. Just got it yesterday. It is considerbly louder when on. I really wish it had some sort of master volume to controll the output. Does EHX do custom mods? Sure would like a master to even out the levels for live use.

I AM ABLE TO GET SOME NICE CLEANER FILTER SOUNDS BY BACKING OFF THE Q, TURNING UP THE SENSITIVITY AND PLAYING WITH A LIGHTER TOUCH. NOT THAT THE MORE AGGRESSIVE FILTER SOUNDS SOUND BAD, IN FACT THEY ARE REALLY GROWING ON ME. THE HIGHER OUTPUT IS ONLY WHEN THE DISTORTION IS ENGAGED. BACKING OFF THE POT DOES LOWER THE OUTPUT SOMEWHAT BUT IT DOESN’T SOUND NEARLY AS GOOD. THIS IS MOST NOTICEABLE THRU MY DI RATHER THAN AMP. I’M GOING TO PLACE IT AFTER THE DI ON MY EFFECTS CHAIN.
STILL WONDERING WHAT THE 2ND POT ADJUSTMENT IS ADJUSTING INSIDE OF THE UNIT.(THE ONE WE ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO TOUCH.)
