Hi, I purchased an English Muffn for my daughter and was wondering if there is a cable that will connect directly to a voodoo lab pedal power 2. Pedal is currently plugged into the AC outlet on PP2. If there is a cable, where can I purchase it in and around Brooklyn, NY
No. The Muff’n requires AC power and the PP2 only has DC outputs.
So, will it be OK plugged into the outlet on the PP2 as is. I have it chained together in this order, Boss pedal tuner>Electro harmonix Small Clone>English Muffn, the Boss and Small Clone are connected to the PP2 via cable connectors and the English Muffn is connected via the AC outlet on the PP2. Please let me know if this is the best way to do this.
no
the ‘ACA’ refers to the Boss ACA 9v DC adapter.
Do not connect it to this, it won’t work.
That will work fine.
He means the auxiliary AC socket on the PP2. It’s there to plug oddball adapters in.
oh nice, didn’t see that.
Thanks, looks like everything is powering up OK but I’m not the guitar player, for my daughter so will wait for her to get home then try it all out.
Best, Surftherock!
Yes there is an AC socket on the PP2 but with English Mufffn plugged into it, cannot mount the Voodoo Lab with a pedal train board in the space provided underneath, (Whole other issue) so the voodoo has to be velcro’d to the top of the board. Anyhow as I stated all looks like powering up OK which is what’s important
They don’t mention it on the site but it’s in the manual.
