Hi there!
This is my first post in the forum so thanks everyone for your help in advance!!
I’m thinking of getting the Electro Pulsar Stereo Tremolo. I’ve heard reviews about it and it’s incredibly versatile. That’s why I can’t wait to order for it.
However I’ve seen some comments about the volume drop of it. I know for a fact that tremolos has this characteristic so I’m familiar with it. Although I’ve been looking in the forum and everywhere else I couldn’t find a possible solution for it. I mean, how to balance the volume playing with the pedal knobs.
My question is,
Is there any way to balance this ‘issue’ in the pedal such as adjusting the depth? Is there any ‘rule of thumb’ to avoid it?
Thank you very much.
I love my Pulsar but there is a perceived volume drop. It is less evident with the depth lower than 11:00. If you use a clean boost or eq pedal after the Pulsar to boost the signal should remedy the issue.
Nice one.
So the lower is the depth the more perceived is the drop? I mean if you place the depth between 07:00-09:00, it is still noticeable? I wouldn’t mind to ‘sacrifice’ the benefits of the depth in order to get a more balance volume.
Thoughs?
Thanks.
No the opposite, I set mine at about 11:00 for unity gain, by which I mean the volume is even when the pedal is switched on and off. If you use the Pulsar with 2 amps the volume drop is less noticeable and sounds amazing!
Thanks a lot man!
