i cant really tell and im debating the 1st letter but i think it says “tap sw”. not sure what i could do but i cant wait to see. midi maybe? cant be on an analog though right?

no you could, it could control the delay time but the actual signal processed would be controlled by the MN-whatever chip. that seems to be the way pedal design is headed [EHX, eventide and empress leading the way].

once again, im really excited for the talking machine. i wish i could read the 9 available “voice” options. i think the design on it is perfect.

nine different vowel sounds, yeah? aaah [FAther] eee [wII] ooo [blUE] ehhh [hEY] ohhh [Omigod] AA [lAUgh] ihh [Interest] Ah [Attack] uhh [fUmble] ?

for me its choice between the new dmm or the diamond memory lane. the dmm seems to sound as good if not better then the memory lane especially in self oscillation. the diamond makes this awful clicking sound in oscillation. other then that though i like the eq control on the dml and it does stereo.

i don’t see a chorus/vibrato switch on the new dmm. has that been taken out? if so that would suck.

Well the chorus/vibrato switch just changed modulation rate, and since there’s a dedicated rate knob on the DMMTT, I guess it’s not really needed anymore.

I’m wondering what it’s going to cost.

Personally I’m GASing for the DMMTT, the DXMB, and the Malekko 919.

I’ve been after a Riddle for a while, because I want to use it with an expression pedal as a seriously adjustable wah. Now that the Talking Machine has arrived the Riddle’s days on my wishlist may be numbered.

This new DMM-TT looks awesome, as someone who digs the DMB but wants more fidelity.. but..

they haven’t stated that it is analog. Nor have they stated it is digital. Anyone know?

Same with neo mistress.. no mention of analog or digital.

DMMTT is probably to be digitally controlled analog, but with a longer max delay time than the DMB. I’d guess analog with the Neo Mistress based solely off them releasing the Neo Clone [analog] and the paint scheme being closer to the deluxe.

According to premier guitar, the MSRP on the DMMTT will be $504.00

    !!!!

    That sounds analog!

In my experience digital is more expensive than analog when it comes to delay units, but rarely by much. The Boss DD-7 and Line6 Echo Park are more expensive than the MXR Carbon Copy or EHX Memory Boy, but again, not by much.

That said, the digital SMMw/H is £45 cheaper than the analog DMM. Got to say though, I’d go for the SMMw/H over the DMM any day.

I don’t think it will necessarily be digital. The diamond memory lane has basically all of the same options and is all analalog.

you gotta remember, thats msrp. the current dmm’s msrp is $418 and thats not that far off if your counting by hundreds. so for the new one, im guessing $378 and im pretty set on the number.

“. . .True to the classic Mistress, the Neo’s design. . .” pretty sure that means analog

Take 25% off of MSRP to get the price it will really be.

I’d bet my first born that the DMMTT is digitally controlled analog, just like the DXMB

I’d also bet my first born that the nano Mistress is analog

Man you’ve really got it in for that First Born…

I suspect the Neo Mistress will be Analog yes, atleast i’m hoping (Digital Flanging never did much for me) I assume it’ll use the 3207 chip instead of 5106 the normal Electric Mistress uses… how close in design to the actual Electric Mistress it is remains to be seen though.

Anyway, pretty stoked for that one if it plays out nicely, only other 1590B sized enclosure Flanger around I know of is the MXR Micro Flanger so it’s nice to see some choice on the small pedal front, especially if they get that Electric Mistress (Non-Deluxe 70s Version) sound in an enclosure that small.

The New DMM will be Analog, i’d bet your first born too, I think rather than being a continuation of the ‘Toy Boy’ line, it’ll be an updated version of the original XO Memory Man which is fairly different in design to the new lines. With Digital Control of course, that’d be my guess atleast.

EHX are my favorite pedals period but I just don’t understand the constant slimming down of features and sizes of these boxes. Why not release a big box Electric Mistress with modern features? Don’t get me wrong I understand why a Nano line is important but how about us that have been using these pedals for years and want the traditional sound and size? I am starting to think EHX is going to start releasing iPAD Apps… ;(

Not much, but it’s a nice up close pic (now my desktop background) and a reasonable description.

Also has the retail price! And it’s actually rather affordable!
