Hi guys,
our guitar player plays a Electro-Harmonix/Sovtek Small Stone V3 (it looks like a V2, but inside it looks like a V3). Yesterday he pluged it to a 12V power supply instead of 9V. After that, no effect is hearable. I opened it, and as you can see on the pic (beneath the red cable on the lower left side), a small part is burnt and with it a cable. So I need to know, which part it is to fix it. Don´t know if it´s a fuse or something like that. Does anyone have a schematic?
Thanks in advance, Schnubb
Another pic:
It’s probably the 47 ohm resistor. That’s what it’s there for.
Hi,
Thanks for the fast reply. I´ll try to braze it in. Hope it will work, cause we all love the sound of that magic box.
Yeah, we brought it back to life! Thanks for support! Cheers, Schnubb
