I bought another one of these:

    Electro-Harmonix Sequencer Drum

a v2 this time, with Clock In, Clock Out and CV Out (missed that on the v1).

The box is interesting, it’s printed on both sides: outside is for the Sequencer Drum, the inside for a Big Muff :)

I still hope to find the Clockworks one day, because I’d love to use one in my setup… (or can anyone make a clone?)

    Question for you guys.

Has anyone figured out how to get the rate on the Sequencer Drum V.1 to go a lot slower?
Is there a mod that can be performed?

With the “trig in” (all versions) or “clock in” (on the v2) you can make it as slow as you want, but I don’t know anything about modding these…

I have version 1 without the clock ports. I’ve connected the Clockworks to the Sequencer Drum through the Trig In port. Triggering the first step can be as slow as the Clockworks, but the remaining 7 steps are still determined by the rate slide of the Sequencer Drum. So you have to manually synchronize the Clockworks tempo with the Sequencer Drum rate. That doesn’t bother me so much. It’s just that I’m stuck with a limited range of tempos to play with because the Sequencer Drum rate doesn’t get slow enough. The upper 3/4 of the rate slide range is way too fast to be very useful.

I wish Julia Truchess was reading here to offer some insight :-)

The slider probably has more resistance at the bottom, so to go slower maybe it’s enough to add resistors?
