Home › Forums › Vintage EHX › Electro-Harmonix Reverb (vintage) question – Made in USA/Made in NYC, USA
Hi,
I bought a vintage EHX reverb pedal in original wooden box which i received today. The one i have says just “made in USA” at the bottom. I then saw on google images of the same pedal saying “made in NYC, USA” at the bottom – having a different styled black knob to the ones (like mine) which say only “made in usa”.
Does anyone know the reason for the change, which one was first etc?
Regards,
Rich
* See differences. Top picture is mine and the bottom is another one with different black knob/info at bottom where made.
After emailing info@ehx.com, they replied with this;

Hello,
The picture on the bottom was an earlier version of the pedal.
The design difference as far as the knob was simply a matter of easier sourcing of materials, and an updated design. The Made in USA was strictly a design choice.
Otherwise, it is the exact same pedal.
Best,
Chip
Cheers EHX.
