Hello,
I got a used DRM-32 a few days ago, wonderful machine!!!
Question: What gear (good working, and, if possible, also cheap) do I need to synchronize the DRM-32 with the other parts of my midi equipment (via the “CLOCK OUT”, that’s obvious, but ..)? If it’s equipment that is no longer produced please also tell it – maybe I can get some older stuff via Ebay. I own a M-Audio Midisport 2*2, but that one is not the solution, I think ..
What kind of signal is that “CLOCK OUT” at all? Is it the same as “WORD Clock out”? Or even just a usual “Midi Clock”-signal? I’m not familiar with that sort of technical stuff, as you can see
Thank you for your help, bye,
Guidance
All it says in the manual is that it’s a pulse signal. It gives no specs.
Hi Ron, thanks for the answer! My DRM-32 didn’t come with a tutorial ..
You don’t know gear that changes that “pulse” into a “Midi Clock”-signal so I can synchronize the DRM-32 with (for example) my Ableton Live sequencer?
Thanks, bye,
Guidance
Everything I know about MIDI could be written on my fingernail in 24pt type so I’m no help there. I’d try over at one of the keyboard forums.
