Nope, you need an input signal from, say, a keyboard or a guitar. It doesn’t need to come out, but it does need to come in. I don’t know whether it would work with pre-recorded stuff, though.
exactly, it uses the chord sequence to generate the harmonies in the right key….but if you are singer in a band you could always run a signal from the guitarist/keyboard in the band to the box….you could just split his signal somewhere and sent it over.
