I have a few questions i will be posting ..This is the first..Does EHX make a tube screamer type pedal..EHX is by far my favorite pedal manufacturer ..I love every EHX pedal i own…I use an Ibanez TS9DX right now as a T/S but would love to try a EHX pedal for that type effect….The LPB-1 is a boost The nano muff and Germaniun both seem to be Distortions and the Big muff pi turned way down gives something close to that but lets face it that isn’t what that pedals strong suit is..So am i missing a pedal here or has EHX decided not to compete in the T/S competition?
Personally I think there’s more than enough Tube Screamers around already. Not only is there the very fine Ibanez, but there’s a whole host of boutique clones and copies. EHX could do the same and make a pedal with a similar circuit/sound…but I just don’t see that as being EHX’s style.
