EHX
Hi. I have a mostly EHX pedalboard and in downsizing I am planning to swap my cry baby, Doctor Q and small stone out for a EHX dual expression pedal with EHX The Worm combo which would give me ‘expressionable’ wah and phaser.
I have noticed that not only is the worm 24V, but also centre-positive polarity, where everything else in centre-negative 9V. In trying to keep compact I’d like to have a single power supply that does it all and I need a new one anyway as mine is cheap, old and makes funny noises.
My question is, do you know if it would work if I get a PSU such as the Palmer PWT 12, use something like a VoodooLab Voltage Doubler cable to combine 2x 12V outputs into 1x 24V, then use something like a 1Spot reverse polarity converter cable? This in theory would give me 1x 24V centre-positive supply for the Worm
This is my board if you are interested:
– Cry baby
– TC Electronic polytune mini
– EHX octave multiplexer
– EHX Doctor Q
– EHX germanium big muff
– EHX stereo pulsar
– EHX small stone
– EHX memory boy
– EHX nano looper 360
…and this is my ‘plan’:
– EHX dual expression pedal (exp:worm/pitch fork)
– TC Electronic Polytune Mini
– EHX pitch fork
– EHX germanium big muff
– EHX the worm (before or after the muff?)
– EHX stereo pulsar
– EHX memory boy
– EHX nano looper 360
Thanks in advance
