When using The Worm with an expression pedal, what parameters can the expression pedal control? When using the tremolo setting, can you control the speed of the tremolo with the pedal? Thanks in advance!

From what I understand from the manual, the expression pedal can only be used to auto-sweep the effects

Ok – that’s what I gathered from the manual as well. I’m not sure exactly what “auto-sweep” means. Does that scroll through the various effects? Thanks again

The expression pedal allows you to control the range knob. That’s all it is. If you set the switch to manual, then the rate knob is disabled, and the range knob acts similar to the filter matrix on an Electric Mistress – like an EQ.

So when in manual tremelo mode, the expression pedal almost acts like a volume pedal.
In manual phaser mode, the expression pedal acts like one of these: http://www.bostonguitar.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=BGWI&Product_Code=VE-EH-BAD-STONE&Category_Code=VE-EH
In manual vibrato mode, the expression pedal acts like a very, very subtle whammy down (pitch shifting only by a microtone)

ahhhh, I see……..that’s kinda weird, but cool…so on the phaser you would actually be controling the phase itself.

….mmmmm, record into hazari, loop….and you could have all sorts of rhythmic modulation patterns….tap in time to drums, bingo…rhythmic phaser and wah sounds!!!!

Thus why I’ve adored this pedal for a long time :thumb: It’s pretty unique.

Instead of an expression- (rocker-) pedal,
you can also hook up a CV (control-voltage)
    to the exp.-jack…

i.e.: modulation from your favorite Synth or Sequencer, or PC, or LFO,
or Drum-to-Trigger envelope generator, or Noisegate trigger-output,
    or Metronome, or Killswitch…

    (see the WORM-Instructions ;) ).
