The battery on my new Silencer drained very quickly after its first use. Sound started distorting, eventually went completely dead and I had to replace the battery.
My question: does the unit drain the battery even when not in use (i.e the LED not lit but leads still plugged in the input/output)?
As long as there’s a plug in the input jack, it will be using the battery power up. This is the way most pedals are set up. If you’re not going to use it for a while, just unplug the input jack.
