Would love to see Electro-Harmonix raise the bar on the filter effects that have been previously explored by the Z-Vex Instant Lo-Fi Junky, the Strymon Moebius Destroyer module, and the Hexe Melusine. In some ways, EHX have played a bit in this realm with the Analogizer.

Could include simulations of retro recording technologies throughout history –
vinyl, cassette tape, 8 bit digital

… as well as different speaker simulations –
Victrola, car stereo, tape recorder mono speaker, TV speaker, boombox speakers, hand-held video game, etc.

Would love continuously variable knobs for fidelity, pitch modulation, degradation noise, and EQ.

Any other ideas?
