Hi everyone! This is my first time ever posting on this forum and I am really hoping that someone can help me out here!! 🙂
I got an EHX 95000 second hand and I have a question about powering it.
I have been powering the 95000 with two different power sources. I have been using both a Strymon Zuma R300 as well a power supply for a Strymon Big Sky which I got out of the box when I bought the Big Sky.
The Strymon Zuma R300 supplies the EHX 95000 with 9V DC, has a negatively polarised center and a maximum of 500mAh can be drawn from it.
The Strymon Big Sky power supply supplies 9V DC, has a negatively polarized centre and a maximum of 650 mAh can be drawn from it.
So my questions is as follows:
Are either of power supplies which I am using suitable for powering the EHX 95000? Can I use the Strymon Zuma R300 to power the EHX 95000? Can I use my Strymon Big Sky Power supply to power the EHX 95000? Can I even use both the Strymon Zuma R300 and the Strymon Big Sky power supplies to power the EHX95000?
I would be really greatful if someone could help me out here and clear up these doubts for me!
Thank you for your time and attention!! 🙂

January 7, 2024 at 3:27 am #207715Harley_JohnParticipantI just wanted to follow up with another question
I am in New Zealand. Will the two power supplies I mentioned in my first post ( the zuma and the big sky power supply ) suffice to power the 95000 correctly in New Zealand?
January 7, 2024 at 5:36 am #207716The EH ManModeratorAs long as the power supplies are plugged into the correct AC voltage, the output voltage should be fine.

Thanks

Either would be fine, just make sure the polarity is correct.

I just got a V1 POG (the silver one) as my first pedal, and I’m looking for a power supply, however because of the 18v 500mA power requirement i can’t find too many power supply’s that do the job, will I be alright plugging it to a 18v 200mA output or something similar, or it has to be 500mA?
Thx 🙂September 30, 2024 at 4:59 am #211226The EH ManModeratorNo, you’ll need at least 250ma for POG.
