Hello, I am an ardent fan of many of EHX’ products, I’ve attached a photo of my pedal board with this email.
I have noticed, that occasionally, there is a very loud and brief screaming noise and I believe it is coming from one of the EHX pedals. (The two pedals at the top are brand new and this was happening earlier.)
I am not using batteries, but am using the stock power supply with the Small Clone, and the rest are daisy-chained as you can see. I don’t recall having any problems until recently. I did just get the #1 Echo from a buyer on ebay and it seems to work just fine.
I did a little web research and found a few other people had similar issues with EHX pedals, and just thought it may be too coincidental not to check with users at this forum directly. Here’s a pic so you can see what I can have and how it is chained. THANKS!
It’s probably an issue of daisy chaining your digital pedals, try giving the micro pog and echo#1 isolated supplies.
OK, well, I’m hoping that’s not it, and I’d rather not do that. Why would that occur? I’ll wait for other replies in the meantime, but I would rather not have separate plugs for everything if I can help it. What a pain.
Of course, I’ll do it if I HAVE to, but again, I’d rather not.
Thanks for your reply!
