I was getting pretty sick of having my pedals all over the place so I picked up one of these the other day and I’m currently spending my time setting this up with a power supply, new cables and a few new pedals….here’s my first impressions.
Firstly it’s a little bigger than I expected, you can easily fit a mixture of about 10 XO/Nano sized pedals in this…providing you don’t mind having 2 rows of pedals….I don’t have anything to measure it with right now, but I will post pictures when it’s all together so you can see exactly what’s possible. This bag is an absolute steal in my opinion. it’s very well made…right up there with the better quality guitar gig bags. It’s a great design too, there are flaps in the sides to pass cables, power supplies etc through the sides, a carry handle and shoulder strap and a handy pocket on the ‘lid’…I’d recommend this to anyone who needs an inexpensive way to keep or transport a smallish pedal set up. if you have a lot of the larger box pedals then you might find it’s a bit small for your needs….but if you have a smaller set up or you use mostly XO/Nano I can’t recommend it enough.
it’s another great quality/brilliant value for money EHX product in my opinion……..I just don’t know why I didn’t buy one before now.
this has to get a 10/10 from me, because I really can’t find anything I don’t like about it and it was excellent value for money.
October 31, 2008 at 6:01 pm #86644The EH ManModeratorI also use the EH pedal bag for my bass setup and it’s worked very well so far. Rather than mount my pedals directly to the bag, I cut a board to fit and covered it with carpet. I have a mixture of pedal brands I use and all are secured to the carpeted board with velcro. Definitely makes an easy and inexpensive way to transport my pedals.

December 1, 2008 at 8:13 am #87829electro-melxModeratorE-H proto’s? are any of those now in production or are they TBA?

for E-H as my freelance tribute to the motto “Heavy Metal Pedals”…obviously not heavy enough, they didn`t pass the test…
(some other designer`s circuit was taken for the “Metal Muff”).(I probably had listened to the Isley Brothers too much at that time,
and tried to get both the sound of “Who`s That Lady” and/or “Live It Up” into them…
it ended up as 12 variations on the theme, with different amounts of control-knobs 😆 )December 1, 2008 at 10:19 am #87831electro-melxModeratorQuote:Quote:E-H proto’s? are any of those now in production or are they TBA?Those were 10 of the “Dirty Dozen” prototypes that I brought to the “MusikMesse Frankfurt 2006”

It sounds good for real ‘metal’ but it’s pretty useless for anything else…..
it will probably end up back where it came from one day!!
I was hoping for just a regular high gain distortion….
December 5, 2008 at 5:16 am #88489CHOUTParticipanti dig my pedal bag. but as soon as i bought it, i quicly outgrew it…so now it works as a gig bag for my gallien krueger bass head – quite nicely.
December 5, 2008 at 11:07 pm #88545Ned FlandersModeratorI want one of the EHX pedal bags, they seem like a cool idea and for someone who hates pedalboards it seems like a good compromise. Melx, did you order yours from new sensor?

Melx, did you order yours from new sensor? No, I bought it off another UK member on HC, but they have them in plenty of shops here.
December 6, 2008 at 8:29 pm #88578Ned FlandersModeratorThey probably have them in stores here too but everything related to guitars/amps/effects is ridiculously expensive here so I buy all my stuff from the US and I saw that NSC sell them direct so I’ll probably get one from them.
December 6, 2008 at 9:28 pm #88582electro-melxModeratorthey are only about £35 here so that’s not bad….I paid £20 for mine ‘used’ they are bigger than you’d think too….here’s what I have in mine (10 pedals) as and as you can see I still have room for my XO graphic fuzz!
