I’ve got a question about my old holy grail. Suddenly, I found out, that it have 8 modes!!! 3 stock modes and 5 hidden. Well, as a big fan of EHX and great opportunities of these pedals, one question – if I’ll make this mod (link) – is this mod safe?
I have not done the mod personally but may look into it. Either way, it appears that if the pedal works fine running the three stock modes, then it should be fine with the other 5 modes.
Can someone post installation instructions for the switches? The 8-position encoder would be nice but not needed.
My first guess is that some of the Holy Grail units reuse the chips from the discontinued Holier Grail. So it would follow that the 8 modes are the same as the Holier Grail (long and short spring, hall, room, and flerb).
