haha this is what the repair shop basically told me to do.
I think i’m gonna just have to take the leap and get a new one. All for a tiny switch that couldnt cost more than a couple of bucks!
The most annoying part is that it broke because i was taking it apart to clean the scratchy pot on the volume knob, and because the PCB is so tight against the chassis, the little toggle switch snapped when I was getting it out. Do they design it that way intentionally?
Pretty poor form by EHX if this is strategically planned obsolescence…
