Home › Forums › Help/Technical Questions › EHX Freeze – Missing Component
Hello,
I have a friend’s EHX Freeze pedal, with which he asked me to replace a broken toggle switch. Before I took the PCB out of the enclosure, I noticed that there was a component missing from the board, near the 9v power supply jack. The component is: C24 (capacitor).
Anyway, the pedal seems to work as far as I can tell, but I’m curious as to what that capacitor value is, in order to replace it properly. The PCB is labeled: EC-D68 Rev. C
I know that I probably can’t replace the original SMD successfully, so I’m fine with trying to put a different sized replacement in there.
Is there anyone that can help with this one value? That’s all I need.
On the Freeze, C24 is 0.1uF/50V in an 0603 package.
Thanks so much for the quick reply! I’ve soldered in the replacement. It’s not the prettiest looking thing, but hopefully it should work.

Does anyone knows what is it?
