    Anyone know where I can get my hands on an EHX Freedom Amp? I’m not looking for one of the ones from the 70’s, but the more recent small wood one. If someone has one or a source for one, let me know as I would be interested (I could also do some trading). Also more generally, does anyone have one that would care to share their opinion on? I am looking for a decent living room amp and would like to keep with my EHX obsession. This is what I am looking for:

    I have one of those in my collection, I’m selling ALL of my gear, and I have a LOT of it..

    I was going to put it up on ebay next week, I’ll send you or post a few pictures of the Freedom Amp, it has a 12V battery inside. They are LOUD too..

    …and I doubt you will, it appears this poster only came on the forum to spam his goods that he had listed on ebay, he may be totally legit, but take any precautions you normally would when dealing with people….especially if you intend on sending anyone money.

    I would recommend watching for the listings on ebay, and if everyone could please keep deals and things within emails and private PM’s the forum admin would appreciate it. The forum is primarily for discussion and we would appreciate it if any private deals were done outside of the forum as much as possible. we might let things slide sometimes but if threads start turning into free advertisments the posts will probably be removed.

    Yeah, it definitely looked suspect. Anyway, has anyone had any experience with these Freedom Amps? As I said, I am on the hunt, but would really like some input other than the few reviews on Harmony Central. Anyone have opinions?
