    Hello,

I’ve just bought a power supply from Johnnyshredfreak:

    http://www.johnnyshredfreak.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=8&products_id=12

I’ve just realised that all my pedals will fit apart from the big muff. The slot is too small whereas all the other pedals fit.

My other pedals to be powered off this are Ibanez TS9, Boss DD-3, Danelectro Pepperoni and Korg Pitchblack

Do I need to buy one of these?

Or is the polarity the same – and I just need a size converter?

Any help is much appreciated fellas!

    Danny

i dont think you need it, most power supply and cable makers know that all of the small 1/8 phono style power jacks are opposite polarity, so the adapter cable automatically corrects the polarity as well as the size and shape.

I’ve been advised to use this so it fits in the smaller hole for the big muff:

yes thats what i was talking about, you need that one, but as i sed you will not ALSO need the other one you mentioned, this one your showing now already reverses the polarity, so its the only one you need.

    Thank you sir!

So there is no chance of frying any of my pedals by using the Big Muff in the same daisy chain as my other pedals when using this adapter?

No it will be fine , the only thing that could happen and it would be rare is it will only sound a bit odd because your pedals are not getting enuf power all chained togeather. But it will not hurt anything, and with your current pedals it won’t be a problem ta aol, there should be plenty of power!

1500mA should be enough to power them as well. Thanks for your help mate, very much appreciated!
