An all in one power supply would be great! it would clear up confusion if you have a lot of different power supplies for a lot of pedals.

March 10, 2009 at 2:47 pm #94344WatsonWoodMemberIt would also be a good idea to develop an all in one power supply integrated in a dedicated EHX pedal board which is configurable to accomodate various pedal “layouts”. (The EHX pedal bag is useful for carrying the pedals to gigs and such but nor very practical on stage) I have had a dedicated pedal board made for my set up, twice in fact, but the power supply issue was never really resolved.
So.. a Power Supply Peddle Board!May 2, 2009 at 5:55 pm #96272fikusMemberThis dream power supply already exists. The Burkey Flatliner Pro. They make the 12v ac cables for the EHX tube pedals and by using y-cables you get 18v & 24v.

hum debugger is 7.5 vac
2880, holiest grail, 16 second delay, and HOG are 9LDC (not sure what that means
tube pedals are all 12ac
holier grail, pog, and flanger hoax all use 18vdc
deluxe memory man, stereo polyphase, Qtron, Qtron +, Worm, deluxe electric mistress, and the analog stereo memory man all use 24vdcit gets crazy doen’t it…I end up writting with bright paint what power is needed on the pedal it self so I know with out having to worry….the funny thing is that I wouldn’t want it to be anyother way….if it takes 40v or 24v or whatever to get that great EH tone I am happy
May 2, 2009 at 7:33 pm #96278cabomanoParticipantMy philosophy right now is that if it doesn’t work with a standard 9V Boss adapter, I’m not buying. 🙄
May 3, 2009 at 12:30 am #96287WatsonWoodMemberI join St.Bede on this one. The crazier the better, whatever voltage it takes.

No 40v though.
May 5, 2009 at 5:09 pm #96383WatsonWoodMemberSo maybe EHX are the best placed to bring out a series of power supply packs for EHX pedals after all.
May 5, 2009 at 8:51 pm #96406julianModeratorI’m thinking of buying an extra frequency analyzer power supply and rehousing it so that it is mountable and have some length of cord running from it to the plug, so that it is no longer a wall wart.
May 6, 2009 at 12:44 am #96409WatsonWoodMemberYes, it is always the same. Leads, cables and cords. Which ones and where to put them.
February 20, 2010 at 7:14 am #107722StudioratMemberThis would be a godsend… I’d buy it.
February 22, 2010 at 10:32 am #107776diegoartsMemberYes, it’s getting difficult isn’t it?
And all the plugs are different – which is not too bad, so you don’t confuse the power supplies, but…So, YES, a dedicated all-in-one would be GREAT.
but i can’t think of a practicle way to build it. there are just too many different pedals/consumptions and how could you leave this or that out. although – for 18 or 24 or even 40v – 1 output each wouldn’t be enough – some use two hoaxes or BMs…
but – the cool guys at electro harmonix may find a good solution to this!
i’d buy a good one! for sure.
