Hello:
When I use the loop up button on the 45000 foot switch the drum sounds are triggered and I’m unable to create a second loop. When I take the SIM card out I lose the data from the first recorded loop.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No audio is stored within the unit, including the drums that were supplied with the unit. If you have a second card you will need to put the drums onto the second card. Below is a link to download the factory drums. Within the downloaded zip file there will be instructions on how to put the drum loops onto your SD card.

Thanks so much for the info. Flick, do you mind answering another quesion? Why do I want to put the drums on a new SD card. Wouldn’t it be better just to use the empty card to record my live loops and to keep the factory drum sounds on the original card?
Thanks so much.

April 18, 2018 at 8:33 pm #123806suewilkinsonMemberHello Flick:
I’m hoping you’ll see this and will help! I have a traditional verse/chorus type of song. I’m having trouble stopping the chorus loop in order to sing the verse and bring the loop of the chorus back in after the verse is sung. Here’s what I’m doing
I’m:
1. hitting new loop on the actual 4500 looper
2. I’m creating the chorus loop by hitting the foot petal record button.
3. but here is the problem. I can’t figure out how to completely stop the loop and bring it back in later.Any suggestions?
Thanks!

After the loop is stopped, pressing the PLAY footswitch again on the Foot Controller should start the chorus loop from its beginning.

I’m trying to record a loop that I can bring back in later on in the song. So my question is this: How do I stop the loop from continuing to record? When I press play after I’ve finished recording the loop the overdub kicks in. If I hit record after I finish the loop the loop continues to play but you can’t continue to record. All I need is to stop the loop and continue to sing and play till I bring that loop back in. At that point I want to be able to overdub on the oringal loop i.e. record a background harmony. I’mn not sure how else to describe it. Hope this gives you a little clarity.. Thanks!!! sgw

You’ll have to press the PLAY footswitch twice to stop the loop. The first press will put the loop into overdub mode, the second press will stop the loop. There isn’t a way to record the loop and then stop it to set the loop length without first going into either Play or Overdub mode. You could also press the REC footswitch to set loop length and then the PLAY footswitch to stop the loop.
May 31, 2018 at 8:51 pm #123952aroberts947@gmail.comParticipantsomething else you could consider is putting the chorus loop on a separate track. then just turning the volume down quickly on that track to get rid of it, and pull the volume back up quickly to bring it back in. might need to have hands free! lol.
June 3, 2018 at 4:51 pm #123957suewilkinsonMemberHi!
I love that idea but wouldn’t the loop just play at whatever part of the loop it was repeating if you turned the volume up when you needed it at the next chorus?
The best solution I’ve found so far is to start the loop with the foot petal and when I’m done I can hit the record button on the actual looper and the loop will stop. Then when I need it again I just hit play on the actual looper.
Any other suggestions? I can’t understand why there is no Stop button. That doesn’t make sense to me?? Do you know if there is a stop button on the new one?
