not what I was expecting, but a cool thing to own.
I was expecting a Phaser effect that you plugged into a guitar and wore around you neck!!! (I know that sounds crazy, but this is EHX after all!!)

For a short while, Electro-Harmonix actually had a little outlet within Bloomingdale’s (a fancy department store in NYC) that sold the EHX light art. It was a little room decked out to look like something from Alien, black molded-plastic walls, covered with LEDs, and staffed by classically freaky EHX folks. For anybody that might remember the 48th street store, it was like that, but transplanted into Bloomingdale’s.
It kills me to see the stuff that Ron has.

Ahh yes. The EH Hall of Science. I have a friend here in Bloomington that actually remembers going there.

It’s great hearing about all this stuff.
The first time I heard of EHX was when I was in my first band, I was about 16 (1986) and we got our first gig as a support to another local band and their guitarist has this huge silver pedal (which I thought was the coolest thing ever, even though I had no idea what it did!!) I didn’t have a clue what it was at the time….looking back I think it was an deluxe electric mistress, but I’m not really sure…it had black print, so it could have been an echo flanger or something else, but it was unmistakably an EHX pedal.

You said the thread was worthless w/o pics. Since the thread is about the 3-Phase, I though that was what you meant.
I think I have some pics of the Hall of Science in an article at home.

Yes, you’re right, I should have been more specific
But I knew the picture from your article and I never heard about the Hall of Science before

I should be putting together an article on the Hall of Science soon. I need to talk to my friend and get his description of the store.
