Bill, if you are still out there? I am getting ready to buy a Ravish, and I saw that you suggested the fv-500l, or the m-audio, as choices for an expression pedal. I am wondering if the Pigtronix dual expression pedal would also work, and will it work with the other EHX pedals that support exp pedals. The Pigtronix can link to 2 pedals at once, and I thought that might be a handy function. On their website they say they are compatable with EHX, but I wanted to make sure with you first before i got one.
Thanks,
msn

Just pause the video when the pedal is shown and adjust your pedal.
Thanks for watching!

If you need any suggestions for upcoming effectologies: A couple pedals I’d like to hear in combo with the Ravish Sitar:
Frequency Analyzer or Ring Thing (so you could tune the sympathetics to all the upper and lower sideband notes of a particularly gongy sounding chord) + the ravish I think would sound pretty cool.
HOG – maybe with some half-cocked freeze glissed 5ths? I’ve always found that can get a pretty far out eastern sound by itself, I’d like to hear it in combination with the Ravish.
Microsynth – I don’t know, I just suspect it’d sound cool.

The ambiance in the front is the Ravish in freeze drone mode.
I looped it in the Stereo Memory Man and added a second drone with different pitches.
It created a big poly chord. The delay and reverb I used is below.
Nothing special, just set them so it sounds good to you:Quote:Hi Bill!Wonderful stuff, as usual, just wondering about the settings for the ambiance at the beginning?
In the video you say that you use ‘A Stereo Memory Man delay and Cathedral reverb’ what settings please?
Thanks!
you sir, are a gentlemen! much appreciated!

After experimenting with it a few hours it’s even more amazing. Works great for my Beatles cover band. Now we are able to do tunes like Norwegian Wood and others. EHX has done it again. Thanks Bill for another great video! You inspire us all!

Great Effectology video demoing the Ravish, love the sounds!

LenIf you right-click on a picture, you will get the option to copy that picture’s address. Paste this into the address field of a new browser page. Then picture will open in better resolution. You can’t save it, though. If you was to keep it on you computer, make a screen dump (prt sc) and save that in Paint or some other graphics program.
