    I have an early Standard Electric Mistress in which I’m pretty sure that the LM339 is bad – the 4013 is OK. Can I safely replace the LM 339 with an LM 2901?

    I don’t see why not, it’s only used in the LFO/VCO, can’t hurt to try.

    Saying that, for £2.14 you can have a 339 delivered from bitsbox.
