I read in the user manual for the smmh that if I had something plugged into both inputs and both outputs, it would threat both signals as seperate.
So I was thinking that I could plug my sound source into input a, then plug output a into input b, and output b to my next effect pedal.
I just wanted to make sure that doing that wouldn’t break anything.
Are there any complications that can arise from running the same signal two times trough the SMMH like that?
i think feedbacks go further when you do that. also there might be some crosstalk, but otherwise you’re effectively doubling the delay time.
I know with a lot of stereo chorus pedals, you can loop one output back into the input and use the rate and feedback knobs as a monophonic oscillator. sounds like something you might be into.
Check it out.
