…sounds pretty cool! Clicked on my Double Muff today and it was making that nice crackly dying battery sound. Also with it on going into my BMPTW I got some trippy fuzz that kind of sounded like Jimi Hendrix’s version of Star Spangled Banner. Cool stuff
no one cares about my discovery 😥
You should get a power-starving pedal so you can can get that tone whenever you want. :thumb: http://www.analoguehaven.com/dwarfcraftdevices/powerstruggle/
EDIT: my bad here’s the current model it has a boost built in to make up for volume loss. http://www.analoguehaven.com/dwarfcraftdevices/defiance/
Don’t buy any dwarfcraft pedals, they are easily the most poorly made pedals I have ever seen and for what they are(tweaked existing circuits) they are a rip off. You can easily make a power starve unit yourself for less than $20.
I plan on getting a pedal power 2 sometime soon and that has two power starve outputs I think.
Oh, I didn’t realize they had starve outputs…..hmmm. I’ll have to take a look at those.
And I disagree on the dwarfcraft statement. The Shiva doesn’t sound like a twist on anything (to me). Aen is pretty nice guy, and a rather big guy, I don’t think he’d make poorly made pedals. What was your bad experience with them, Flanders?
I have over 20 photo’s of his production process and gut shots that prove how poor they are, they are the worst pedals i’ve ever seen.
I also have the schematics (I reversed one of his pedals, and others reverse an other) of his pedals and they are all tweaked existing pedals.
But hey, buy what you want.
hm, interesting. i was just curious. I’m over at the devi ever forums a lot so its always healthy to get another side of the story.
