as said before… Mike Patton :)

the guy was in Faith no more, he did the pop/hiphop Peeping tom record, he recorded with the Dillinger escape plan… and of course his more avantgarde stuff with the Fantomas and Mr.Bungle and so on

this guy is crazy :) i love him

also… what about Frank Zappa? :D

sorry if i sound like a broken record to you guys, but jack white showed up with phenomenal drumming skills all of a sudden and in a genre of electro blues. even the genre sounds awesome. im not sure if thats what this forum post was exactly about or if it was from music to something else, but he also does movies so double double achiever.

jack was a drummer before he was a guitar player

Mike Patton is a great example.

Lately I’ve been listening to a killer stoner rock band called “Witch”, whose drummer is none other than J Mascis, of Dinosaur Jr. The guitar playing in Witch is awesome, but I can’t imagine how nerve-wracking it must be to try to come up with riffs while J Mascis is sitting behind the kit.

I can’t believe I’ve not heard of this. I love how J. plays drums. I partially taught myself drums by trying to emulate Dino Jr’s ‘Green Mind’, he was the drummer for most of that disc.

Seriously, check Witch out. They’ve got 2 albums, and they’re both killer!
