After spending some time with this pedal I’m starting to really like it……it sounds quite different from the other ‘Q’ pedals and I actually think I prefer it, it’s not a ‘wahy’ as a q-tron, with the switch down and the knob around 11-1 o clock, you get almost like a triggered phase sound, which is quite subtle, you can get an almost fixed wah sound too, which is great for leads as it pretty much stays in the ‘middle’ for mid boosted leads with just a subtle shift now and again …..this was a real ‘grower’ pedal for me but it sounds really great with a Big Muff and I’ve really found myself warming to it.
Happy Days.

I love the pedal,
was quite a grower for me too,
there’s a crazy sound like a ghost coming out of a toothpaste tube on some of the settings..
at least that’s the only way I can describe it.
your description makes me want to buy the doctor q immediately. i think i shall.
