Just wondering if that would be a MS that’s giving it that nasal sound
Sounds sort of like a half-cocked wah pedal.
theres no microsynth there. it is harmonized though, maybe a touch of wah or filtering, but it would be as part of digital rack effect patch. most of the MCIS solos are run thru an eventide harmonizer or a digitech dsp 55, both on record & live.
i cant remember examples of the microsynth on MCIS, but it is on a number of songs & bsides of the siamese dream era, starla is the main one.
It could be the wah on an MP-2 in a parked position, as he’s said he used one of those for solos on the mcis tour, but I was thinking it could also be a Micro Synth’s filter sweep, with both the start and the stop on the same frequency.
