I play a Les Paul :) Nothing Fender in my arsenal, but if I had the money to buy another guitar, that could change…

Same here, except mine’s a jr. I would buy a fender but im using my money to get more effects instead of guitars.

Do you like the JR? I’ve not used anything with a p-90 yet.

I love the Jr., I would never sell it because it sounds good playing almost any type of music.

I’ll have to keep that in mind. I’m looking to buy a guitar for when I go to college, as I don’t want to take my LP, but I don’t want an Epi or something crappy…I’ve been thinking about buying a used SG standard @ my local music store, they’ve got one for a grand, which i didn’t think was too bad…i think with a p-90 i might miss that thick, bluesy neck pu sound…

yea, i’m not sure if a jr. is good for blues. I play mostly rhcp and other types of rock.

Actually, i’ve seen John Mayer use a jr. and he plays mostly blues stuff so maybe.

Here’s what I reckon (which isn’t much since it is coming from me): most EHX users use whatever they wanna use. I think that is quite a bit more feasible (or however the hell you spell that). By the way, Mr Radunzel’s avatar freaks me the fuck out.

The coronado is such a cool hollowbody. Was it the only hollowbody besides the hollowbody telecaster that fender made?

    This one does…
    Telecaster Thinline RI
    AVRI Jazzmaster
(signal then bounces through a multitude of pedals and comes out into a Frenzel 5e3, which is basically a Fender Deluxe)

I use two Fenders currently: a Mexi Jazzmaster and a mexi telecaster. I love mexican fender, they’re super reliable. I don’t really need the “excellent tone” of an american because I’m pushing my guitar through five or so fuzzes anyways,

I also use a Gibson SG Classic, and Eastwood Hi-flyer. SG’s are my favorite shaped guitars, they’re lightweight and all the controls are off to the side and out of the way of my strumming. I had to unscre the top pick-up selector on my jazzmaster so I’d stop jacking it at shows. =/

Is it just me or do most people who use EHX effects also seem to use fender guitars? I do, a lot of the time :) and it looks like a few of you guys also use fenders.

Just an interesting thing thats been playing on my mind for a while – discuss :D

    I don’t.

I use my ESP ltd ec-400, which is a Les Paul copy & has humbucking pickups.
And I swear by my EHx pedals.

I use cheap shit like a Tanglewood 335, Washburn something or other, 1980 Westbury standard, 60’s Harmony (1 PU, now has 4 flatwounds and tuned to A) and a 70s Jap LP copy. I also use crappy random pedals like Rhino, Dano, Arion distortion, a 2880 and a 70’s small stone, a Boss PW10 wah, and RAK and Pearl analog delays. Mostly I use my pedals on synth tho, I just leave my overdrive (Rhino, e20!!!) on all the time into my Epi 5 watt valve amp. All this is soon to change, though, Marshall and Big Muff ahoy! All my guitars have humbuckers.
I have to agree with the small hands thing, cos I sure do!

I play a rickenbacker 4003 bass. I have fenders but the ric quickly replaced them as my goto.

I play either a FrankenStrat with Lollar Blackface PUs or a ’72 Thinline Tele RI (soon to have Lollar Imperials) into a Fender Blues Jr. Nothing against the other amps, it’s just the sound/feel I want.

I do find that Fenders take pedals pretty well.
