Hi: I´ve got my Deluxe Memory Man a few months ago. I have no doubts that
is one of the bests soundings delays on the market, the problem is that,
when i play my les paul, the echoes sounds distorted, specially if i play
hard, but even with a medium attack playing on chords (maybe for its high
ouput hambuckers). When i plug mi strat on it, the repetitions sounds
incredibly beautiful (cause of the single coils, i guess). I haven’t opened
the unit but i know it has trim pots i can tweak. Can you tell me which one
can i tweak to reduce or eliminate the distortion of the repetitions when i use my les paul? I live (almost) in a jungle and is very dñfficult to get here
and oscilloscope or something like that to fix the pedal sound problem, but i guess i
could use my ears in this silent place.
I will be very gratefull for your answer
turn your volume down on the guitar.
That’s an easy solution, but, as a tone sick, i don´t like that solution. If i turn down the volume of the guitar, the sound become less brigth and clear, cause of the impedance, i guess. But thanks for the answer anyway.
