So please excuse me if this has already been discussed, already exists, or I’m in the wrong forum.

I am – was always – looking for a distortion effect that would distort/overdrive each note separately, like if you play two strings on the guitar I would want the sound to be like two distorted guitars each playing a single note.

Listening to EH’s fabulous 9-series I would think that it is possible to read the notes off the guitar and run each note through a separate distortion/overdrive, and I may have overlooked something, but I do not seem to be able to find that particular effect in your selection.
