I’ve got a Caline CP-202 power supply on the way, so I won’t have to use batteries for my Nano Hot Tubes anymore, and I’m wondering if I should try 18Vt or not? For more headroom, or more gain, or compression, or whatever it may cause…also curious about any other EHX dirt pedals and different voltages they can or can’t handle.
Thanks and hello! Long time EHX user here.
No please run at the 9 volts it was designed for.
Hitting it with 18 volts can pop a protection diode making the pedal dead in the water.
